Is TicketCompass free to use?
Answer: Yes — completely free. We don't charge any fees to compare prices. When you click on a ticket, you'll be redirected to that platform's website to complete your purchase. You'll pay whatever the platform charges (all prices shown already include their fees).
What does "all-in pricing" mean?
Answer: All-in pricing means the price you see already includes every service fee, facility charge, and order fee — no surprises at checkout. We add up the base ticket price plus all fees so you can compare the true cost across platforms.
Which platforms do you compare?
Answer: We currently compare prices from Ticketmaster, StubHub, and SeatGeek — the three largest ticket marketplaces in North America. More platforms may be added in the future.
How often are prices updated?
Answer: Ticket prices are updated regularly to reflect current market listings. Because resale prices fluctuate in real time, the exact price at checkout may vary slightly from what's shown.
Do you sell tickets directly?
Answer: No. TicketCompass is a price comparison tool only. We show you where to find the best deal, then send you directly to the platform to complete your purchase securely.
What sports are covered?
Answer: We currently cover NFL, College Football, MLB, NBA, NHL, and MLS. We're actively working on adding more sports and events.
What does it mean when a platform is labeled "Official"?
Answer: Every team has an official ticketing partner — the platform that sells tickets directly on behalf of the team or league. Buying from the official partner means you're purchasing at face value with no third-party markup, tickets are guaranteed authentic, and you'll receive the strongest buyer protections and customer support if something goes wrong. Platforms labeled "Resale" are secondary markets where fans re-sell tickets.

Answer: Resale platforms are generally safe, but it's worth being an informed buyer. Resale tickets are sold by third-party sellers — not the team or venue directly — so prices fluctuate based on demand. This can actually work in your favor: for less in-demand games, resale tickets are often available below face value. For the most reliable experience, buying from the official ticketing partner (labeled "Official" on our site) is always the safest option: tickets come directly from the source at face value with the strongest buyer protections.
